FENIX began our activities in the Electronic Market in the year 1.989, which was focussed on the Distribution of electromechanical and passive components.

By the end of 1.992 and during 1.993, we turned into the leader in Spain distributing printer mechanisms from Seiko Instruments and printer mechanisms Epson Iberica and we engaged some other important franchises in LCDs and other subsystem components.

In the year 1.995, we started our own production of interface cards, panel-mount, controllers for printer mechanism and kiosk printer, based on the printer mechanisms distributed from Seiko and Epson to be marketed throughout Europe.

In the year 2.000, we expanded the commercialization of our printer systems and mechanisms far beyond Europe, to countries such as USA, Israel and Australia.

In the year 2.003, as a result of the growth experienced during the previous years, we moved our Headquarters to a new 1.400-square meter building to offer a more efficient support to all our customers and franchises.

Since the beginning in 1.994, our R+D department has developed a very wide range of printer systems mechanism for industrial applications; kiosk and panel-mount printers, and POS receipt printers. Our printers are sold in the North, Central and South Europe, USA, and many countries in Asia, Africa and South America.

During the last two years, we have expanded our range in distribution components to cover the major part of the needs of the Kiosk and POS markets, selling, besides of the printers we produce, TFT monitors, card readers, industrial PC cards and PCs, controllers for printer mechanisms, customer displays, anti-vandalism keyboards and other components and printer mechanisms for those markets.
